Prof. Artūras Dambrauskas
Prof. Artūras Dambrauskas (b. 1961) is a prominent Lithuanian choral conductor and educator.
He currently serves as a Professor and the Head of the Department of Music Theory and Pedagogy at the Vytautas Magnus University Music Academy, where he teaches conducting and various choral disciplines.
Since 2015 he has been the artistic director and chief conductor of the State Choir “Vilnius,” and also the artistic director of the International St. James Festival.
In 2018 he was the Artistic Director of the Song Day for the Lithuanian Centennial Song Celebration “For That Cause”.
In 2018 he was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Order “For Merits to Lithuania”. A. Dambrauskas, a professional choral conductor and experienced musician, has repeatedly served as a conductor at Lithuanian Song Celebrations and festivals and as a member of juries for international and national competitions.
